So, here we start the 2nd part of WordPress
I hope you have already read the WordPress first part for a better understanding.
Let’s see the process of how we could create a website using WordPress.com
Simply we will write wordpress.com in the address bar and hit the Enter button. After that we will click “Get Started”. Now, we need to sign up. For a faster login we can use our Google / Apple account.
After that we have to choose our domain. As an example ituniq3.wordpress.com can be our cost free domain.

We will be asked what kind of website we are creating like Blog, Business, Personal, Portfolio, Online store (eCommerce features required paid plan). Now the customization starts with the website Name, Tagline, Themes, Edit text and Images, Add new Pages (e.g About, Contacts), Change Fonts / Colors. And, we also add a Blog Section if we want to publish some articles. Once we are happy with everything then we can go for Publish to make our site live. As we knew before about cost free websites we can’t customize our website freely. It will always be under the SubDomain like ituniq3.wordpress.com, Limited (1GB) storage, no plugins and themes (limited), WordPress ads will appear on our site. But, it’s not totally useless because it can be very good for personal blogs / portfolio / a simple info site like a resume or a basic business page.
I hope that we have a good knowledge to create a free website with WordPress.com.
Now it’s time to move on to WordPress.org.
